Salvia (Rosmarinus) officinalis (Prostratus group) ‘Rampant Boule'

Rosemary Lamiaceae

A particularly useful prostrate rosemary, forming a low, spreading mound of dark green, aromatic foliage, the narrow leaves silvered beneath. The arching stems carry small, bright blue flowers in spring, with a second flush often appearing in autumn. Evergreen and drought tolerant once established, it is particularly effective cascading over walls, the edge of a raised bed or from a container, where the habit can be fully appreciated. Grow in full sun and well-drained soil; it is hardy through most of the UK. An excellent culinary rosemary as well as a handsome garden plant.

Height: 40cm. Spread: 60cm
