A particularly delicate little snowdrop, and about as white as a snowdrop can sensibly get. ‘Sibbertoft White’ is an albino form of Galanthus nivalis, with pure white outer and inner segments; occasionally the inner segments carry two exceedingly faint green dots, one either side of the sinus. It was found at Sibbertoft Manor, Northamptonshire, the home of Lady Beatrix Stanley, and was subsequently distributed by the late Richard Nutt, appearing in the North Green Snowdrops catalogue in 1998.

Its near-total absence of green has made it a useful benchmark for the Albino Group, although the occasional ghostly green dots rather spoil the paperwork! A graceful, rather slender nivalis, but surprisingly robust and capable of making good clumps.
