Galanthus reginae-olgae subsp. reginae-olgae 'Ruby's Green Dream'

A particularly handsome and vigorous selection, flowering remarkably early in the season. The rounded flowers have pure white outer segments decorated with merging green striations, contrasting with the deeper green markings within. The erect, blue-green leaves have a conspicuous midrib and emerge around flowering time, giving the plant a fresh and distinctive appearance.

Named by Joe Sharman for Ruby Baker, ‘Ruby’s Green Dream’ has become a particularly desirable autumn-flowering snowdrop. Vigorous and quick to establish, it makes an excellent clump when left undisturbed. The early flowering habit makes it especially valuable for extending the snowdrop season well beyond the usual winter months.

Best grown in fertile, humus-rich soil that remains reasonably moist but well drained, in sun or light deciduous shade. A sheltered position helps prolong the early display.
