Galanthus ‘Super Dumpy’

A wonderfully chunky and characterful snowdrop, Galanthus ‘Super Dumpy’ is a chance seedling found in the Walled Garden at Edulis. It is an exceptionally stout plant, producing large, chunky flowers above broad, upright leaves, giving it a wonderfully solid presence despite its compact stature.

The substantial flowers and strong, upright foliage make this a particularly distinctive garden snowdrop, with the slightly irreverent name perfectly reflecting its squat, robust character. A home-grown selection from Edulis and a fine example of the rewarding surprises that can emerge from a well-established snowdrop collection.
