Skeleton Flower Berberidaceae
Rarely offered herbaceous perennial producing almost transparent white flowers above dissected umbrella-like leaves in late spring. The white flowers become transparent when wet. Followed by blue berries on red stalks. Honshu and Hokkaido, Japan & Sakhalin, Russia. 9 cm pot
Please note that Diphylleia grayi goes dormant from July. Berries form on established plants.
