Deinanthe Hydrangeaceae

Blue form of  Deinanthe , growing to 40cm, with cup-shaped waxy blue flowers. Forms tight clumps and favours woodsy conditions away from drying winds. Shade. China.

There is some indication that this is a hybrid between D. bifida & D. caerulea.
