Oriental Shuttlecock Fern Onocleaceae

Deciduous Asian rhizomatous ornamental fern. Sterile fronds forming wide shuttlecock-like plumes up to 80 cm. Shade. Not too dry. Hardy but crown can benefit from a winter mulch. Rarely offered.
