A small woodland perennial similar to Wood Anemones but later flowering. Distinctive trifoliate leaves and white anthers. Restricted range in the wild from Portugal to Hungary. Hardy. Ht. 20 cm. Forms slowly increasing clumps. March-May 9 cm pot
