UK

Parcels are usually sent out on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid the weekend. Most parcels are currently sent via Royal Mail, but we also use DPD & Parcelforce for larger orders. Royal Mail 1st Class has proved very reliable and usually arrives in 1 or 2 days from dispatch. Orders are usually processed in 4–7 days except in very busy periods i.e. January & February. A dispatch notification with tracking details is sent on processing.

Packing Your Order

Woody & Herbaceous Plants

We ship these in recyclable cardboard boxes and use canes to support the plants in transit. Voids are filled with either straw or paper. Paper tape is used as much as possible but sometimes we use plastic FRAGILE tape if extra strength is needed. We aim to be plastic-free as much as possible. Some of our customers love our packaging as much as the plants!

Snowdrops in the Green

Snowdrops are washed prior to dispatch and wrapped in moss, then enclosed in a small bio-degradable plastic bag held with paper tape. Then the whole order is rolled in a cardboard roll. This system has proved very successful over the years with minimal stress to the bulbs.
